Personality of a Taurus-Gemini Cusp :S?

Well, of course everyone's different and many planets would influence personality besides your Sun sign. But my best friend's a Taurus/Gemini Cusp (May 20). She's dedicated, headstrong, opinionated, determined and isn't exactly the most sympathetic/empathetic person. Sometimes she's really harsh and doesn't always regard others' emotions. I think she puts herself before others. She can be cocky, but also looks at things logically. She likes to be the best at what she does and sometimes be noticed and is a stickler about credibility-- people need to know about her achievements. She likes to be the leader. I have a feeling she's much more Taurus than Gemini, but i thought i'd share.
